  6. Caldwell BS, Wang E. Delays and user performance in human-computer-network interaction tasks. Hum Factors. 2009 Dec;51(6):813-30. (PI: B.S. Caldwell) Note: PubMed is used as the primary link to citations in these lists because of its widespread use, to provide uniformity, and because it provides links to the publisher's abstract page. However, sometimes the publisher link is not there in PubMed, as is the case in the citation above. In such cases, if you want to navigate to the publisher's site, there are two main ways to do this. One way is to google the journal title and navigate to the journal site and find the abstract there. Another way is to use a PubMed/NLM Catalog feature to find a web link to the journal. By holding the cursor above the journal title abbreviation in the PubMed abstract, the full journal title will appear. Click once on the title abbreviation and hold the cursor there; the word "Wait" may first appear and eventually the word "Journals" will appear. This may require a second or third effort and a little practice. Clicking on "Journals" will take you to the NLM Journals database, showing you the record for that journal or a list of possible journals. Clicking on the NLM ID for the correct journal takes you to the NLM Catalog record for that journal, which usually contains a web link to the publisher's site. From there you can navigate to the abstract. Try this with citation #6 above.
